Stock Trucks
Hey there im just wantinf to know some information on the movement if stock. I have cows going away for winter grazing this week. And im concerned the truckies arnt cleaning trucks well enough to protect my stock. What respoonsorbility is on them or is it on me to arrange?
It is joint contact carrier ask them what they are doing if nothing try a different one, a lot are doing it and some only if asked or they won’t get the work.
A hose out and get a small weed pump sprayer with some disinfectant in it give it a spray before loading if you’re not happy This will kill it, if they come with a clean truck and not backloading it will be fine.
Things that kill it out star the cow is: Sunlight, dry it out, change in PH, disinfectant.
