Lower north island for May to May grazing is $9-$12.50 the 12.50 guys say it a bit expensive but are on weight gain and done well (ie getting a 500 kg heifer back and very low MT rates even a couple with a zero MT rate) after May they go on to winter grazing rates with a range of $24-$30. I have had more worried about the increasing transport cost that has to be added on top so more expensive grazing is cheaper than cheaper grazing at some distance away.
